Kershaw Black PVD Coating Fixed Blade Knife Md: 4355

The Whiplash (Model 4355) is a bold, military-style fixed-blade knife with a built-in parachute cord lanyard. Just pull the tab at the butt of the knife to release the elasticized lanyard, wrap it around your wrist, and you're good to go. For an even more secure grip, the Whiplash features extra-large thumb notches on top of the blade, as well as an oversized index-finger notch below. For harness and strength, the blade is made of 8CR14 stainless steel (a premium stainless steel similar to AUS8A) with matte black PVD coating. The 8CR14 earns a 58-59 rating on the Rockwell scale and the PVD provides wear resistance, low friction, and edge retention. The Whiplash's glass-filled nylon handle offers strength and non-slip control. When not in use, the lanyard wraps around the handle and secure out of the way.
