This combination allows for the mounting of a Holosun 509T (HE509-RD) reflex sight on your firearm at an offset position, which is particularly useful for use with magnified optics. The optic plate features a tall height, which raises the Holosun 509T above the main optic on your firearm, allowing for a lower 1/3 co-witness with the primary sight. This co-witness setup ensures that you can use your iron sights through the lower portion of the reflex sight, providing redundancy and quick target acquisition in case of optic failure.
