The Mustad Powerlock Plus with Spring Keeper features a tapered spring gripper, offering a secure hold for your favorite swimbait with as much as 80 percent more grip strength. The unique adjustable sliding, build-in weight allows for back, forward or centered presentation. Moving the weight is easy. Rotate the weight several times to heat the silicon insert. Move the weight to the desired position. As the insert cools, the weight will be held firmly in place again. The back position will push the bait backwards under structures like logs and docks. Use it with tube baits, crawfish, or jerkbaits. The forward position will make the bait dive nose down. Use it with worms, Gidzit, or tubebaits. The centered position will make the bait sink horizontally. Use it with tube and jerkbaits, lizards, and worms. The wide gap provides excellent hooking and holding abilities for big fish. These hooks are coated with Mustad?s own black nickel finish, which is 4 times as corrosion resistant as traditional black nickel and are constructed of chemically sharpened high carbon steel.
