The Nitecore MH12 LED Flashlight is the newest addition to the Multi-Task Hybrid Series. Now I know what you're thinking to yourself, is that a rechargeable P12? The long and short answer to that is yes, the MH12 is almost identical to the P12 in size, shape, and output. However, what takes the MH12 to the next level is its integrated micro-USB charging port, making life much easier when it's time to charge it back up. Measuring in at 5.47" and weighing just over three ounces, the MH12 just may be the perfect, portable, and lightweight EDC flashlight out today. The MH12 produces a blistering 1000 Lumens, with a maximum throw of 232 meters, which is accessed via the intuitive two-button user interface. Combine that with its three special modes, Strobe, SOS, and Location Beacon, the MH12 is the perfect light for the everyday user, law enforcement, campers, and adventurers. Lighting Technology CREE LED The MH12 is fitted with the latest CREE XM-L2 LED, which will produce an intense 1000 Lumens while in Turbo mode. The tactical tail switch offers momentary illumination, while the mode side switch offers quick access to all of the output modes. To access the various output modes, simply press the mode side switch repeatedly. The MH12 will output 240 Lumens on High, 70 Lumens on Medium, and a single Lumen on Low mode. To access the special modes, press and hold the mode switch for over one second to enter Strobe mode. Repeat to access SOS and Location Beacon mode. Power Micro-USB Charging Port The MH12 is able to be powered by either two Lithium CR123A batteries or a single rechargeable 18650 cell. The MH12 is capable of charging one 18650 Li-ion battery with the included USB charging cable, while the light is on. You can connect the MH12 to either a computer, USB powered charger, in your home or in the car. The integrated power indicator, which is in the side switch, will glow blue throughout the charging process. When charging is complete, the MH12 will end the charge automatically and the battery indicator will turn off. When the light is on, the power indicator will blink once every two seconds when power level drops to 50%; the power indicator will blink quickly when power level is low.
