Lumen output can range between the full 2000 down to a low light 1 lumen mode that can run for up to 325 hours! Specialty modes include SOS, beacon, quick and slow flashing warning modes and of course a disorienting tactical strobe mode for self defense. Additionally the highest and lowest modes can be accessed instantly by rotating the switch all the way in either direction and pressing the tail cap switch.
